What we collect

- Project information: site location, building size, timeframe and project details.
- Files you upload: photographs, plans and drawings attached to a quote request.
- Reviews you choose to submit, including your name, location and any photographs.
- Basic technical data such as pages visited, device type and referring source.
Why we use it
To respond to your enquiry, prepare and deliver quotations, carry out contracted works, publish reviews you have submitted, meet legal and health-and-safety obligations, and improve the website. Our lawful bases are your consent, steps taken at your request before entering a contract, performance of a contract, and our legitimate interest in running the business.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers who host this website and its database and file storage, with our accountants and insurers where required, and with sub-contractors or suppliers where necessary to price or deliver your project. We never sell your data.
Retention
Quote enquiries and uploaded files are kept for up to 24 months from last contact unless they become part of a contract, in which case project records are kept for six years to meet legal and insurance requirements.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy in portable form, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email info@udmltd.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
